Senior Pastor
Brad received his Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has been New Community Church's lead pastor since its inception in 1998. He helps people resolve personal background issues by uncovering the philosophical dilemmas of clashing worldviews. Brad has two passions in ministry: one is to make mature disciples and the other is to plant churches to aid in fulfilling the Great Commission.
Brad has been married to his wife Sue, the love of his life, since 1992. Together, they have two beautiful children, Samuel and Grace.

Frank cho
Executive Pastor
Frank has been with New Community Church since the spring of 2008. He's a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago and Moody Theological Seminary. Initially serving as Worship Director, he now oversees Discipleship and the administrative needs of the church. Through active involvement in discipleship, accountability, and small groups, Frank is convinced that people must commit to the local church, grow in serving, seek restoration in all of our relationships, and replicate as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Frank is married to his wife, Linda, and they have a son, Ethan, and daughter, Jayden.

lois yooN
Director of Children's & Youth Ministries
Originally from Michigan, Lois and her family feel blessed to be part of New Community Church, a church that seeks to fulfill the Great Commission. Lois joined the staff in the summer of 2018 and oversees toddlers up to youth. She feels privileged to share with the young generation about the powerful, forgiving, and kind God who we love and serve.
Lois is married to her husband, Gene, and has two beautiful daughters, Sophie and Joy. In her spare time, Lois enjoys taking care of her plant babies, reading Wikipedia entries, jamming to Christian music, and listening to electronic dance music!

Phil kwon
Director of Worship
Phil has been with New Community since 2012 and joined the staff in March of 2017. As Director of Worship, he oversees the worship committee which is comprised of the praise team, welcoming team, creative arts team, fellowship team, and open prayer ministry. Since the age of 13, it's been Phil's dream to be a worship pastor, and he is grateful to be part of a church that prioritizes worship as a choice and lifestyle.
Phil has been married to his wife, Annie, since November of 2015, and they have two bundles of joy: PJ & EJ.
