Prayer is the driving force by which the church runs. When we come together in prayer, we experience the fullness of God's grace and its transforming power as God intended for us.
About the Prayer Wall
The purpose of the Prayer Wall is to show our members and visitors that New Community Church is a praying church. This wall provides a place where our church family can share prayer requests and support one another through prayer. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2).
• Take an index card and write your prayer request on it.
• Write your name on the blank side of the card.
• Use a pushpin to place your card on the Prayer Wall with the blank side (your name) facing out.
During prayer meetings, our brothers and sisters will take a posted prayer request card from the prayer wall and intercede for that request. Next to the Prayer Requests is a Prayer of Thanksgiving section. We encourage everyone to reflect on how God is working in their lives, both in joyful moments and in times of struggle, and share those praises with the church by posting an index card of thanksgiving on the wall using a pushpin. This allows us to visibly celebrate God’s faithfulness together and give thanks for His goodness in every season.
