Discipleship Classes
We believe that allowing yourself to get equipped and trained (i.e. to be discipled) is critical to becoming a more mature disciple of Jesus. At New Community Church, the discipleship process starts with first deciding to commit to a local congregation through church membership and then continuing through a disciple-the-disciples model.

Discipleship 100 Class

Discipleship 300 Large Group Class (Restoration)

“What has God called us to understand? Why has God called us? What happens when we do not understand why God has called us?” These are some of the questions we'll tackle as we learn how to mature through repentance & forgiveness. D300 small group is a prerequisite for this class.

Do you want to learn how to discern, understand, and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit despite your imperfections? In following & fulfilling the will of God in your life, it is through empowerment & replication that allows you to continue to mature as a disciple of Jesus Christ. D300 is a prerequisite for this class.

Do you want to learn how we can take the gospel message beyond the walls of our church through evangelism & missions? We will look at the 7 evangelistic messages in the book of Acts as our models. D300 is a prerequisite for this class.

Do you want to learn how a sermon is crafted and preached at New Community Church? It's mostly for vocational staff, but is available to lay members who want to learn about preaching. This class covers how to study the Bible in a way that personally & corporately transforms you. D100, D200, and D300 are prerequisites for this class.
